H2: The Bad News

First and foremost, I cannot thank everyone for reading the Black Bunny blog. The entire H2 coverage started purely by accident.

The morning of February 26th, I decided, with my husband, to stop on the square in Covington to take photos. No one was there but a couple of extremely friendly security people. I, never in a million years, dreamt that I would see Rob Zombie walk down the street much less get a photo with him and learn that he was such a great guy. That was how it all began. The fact that the farthest I ever traveled to a shoot was only about 20 minutes helped. The absolutely best thing to come out of this are the people that I have met along the way and I'm not talking about the movie stars. I have met some phenomenal people through the blog. All the way from the people who have come up to me and let me know that they read the blog to the ones I now email on almost a daily basis. Everyone has been fantastic!

If this is starting to sound like a 'Dear John/Jane' letter, it kinda is.... The closer the wrap gets, the more people are showing at locations, people who are breaking all the etiquitte rules and more sensitive information is being leaked through the comments and the internet in general everyday.

Everyone I have met on the sets from local law enforcement, set security, crew, P.A.'s to the folks like Tyler Mane and Rob Zombie, I could not have asked for a better experience. They have all gone above and beyond to cater to the fans. I can not imagine how they could have done more for me, for all of the fans.

Combine that information with the fact that fan photos with Tyler are now being limited and and in some cases completely banned because of internet leaks and it is leading down a path that makes the fans look bad. I cannot contribute to that situation. I have too much respect for the hard work that security, the crew and the stars, especially Mr. Zombie is putting into this film to jeopardize what is left of their film schedule. (Yes, I'm a southern girl and we use 'Mr.' when we want to show our respect.)

With that being said, I will post no more information about shoot locations. I will delete any new information about shoot locations and if requested will delete past posts/comments about shoot locations.

I will continue to post information and pictures after the fact. Again, I will remove or delete any information or pictures, if requested.

Due to all of these issues (plus others), my photobucket account is now passworded and all blog photos will be displayed in a slideshow.

I'm sorry it has come to this but I have had a blast and will continue to post some H2 things.

Please comment back to me. I kinda feel like a heel for having to take this stance but it is simply the right thing to do.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Annabella

I totally understand. Thanks for all the pics along the way, I know it has been hard work.

Living in Gwinnett County is not an excuse not to show up! I live in Barrow County, Work in Gwinnett and have made it to the set A time or TWO! lol well maybe more than 2.

Didn't know that location was the production office. Truely sorry about that, and it will never be reposted again. I'm sad to hear that any and all location info will end. Your in, so was I, and I shared everything I could here as far as location info went- minus spoilers. You all found decatur exact location because of me. I tried to help everyone involved here, including Brandon last night, but I made a mistake. A mistake I thought was ok beforehand. I cleared it with two people several days earlier. Unfortunately the other crew didn't know, and I'm sure it negatively effected my status there. I'm so bummed about it, intentions were totally good, and permission was asked in advance to do it. Good luck to all of you still hunting. If you care to keep me in the know. My myspace page is www.myspace.com/shapemaker

yeah, I spoke with your husband last night @ the Jam about all the various risks of posting such juicy tidbits. I actually got to see the photo double for young michael and the sets...and even get info on plot. It's like having something that you want to tell people, but out of respect I will not post any info on-line. It was an incredible experience being an extra in a Rob Zombie horror film and I owe it all to you.
Thank You again for your work and dedication.

Amanda - you definitely don't have to delete the picture. I want to go out and look at it and grab a copy if it is OK with you :)

Pink Bunny - I know what you mean. I have incredible spoiler info and pix (actually from the beginning) but I have not blogged or posted any of that info. I have tried to keep it to the fan experience.

Charles - No problem my friend but I have to tell you that I have had all shoot locations since Feb 27th.

I will still be posting H2 pix. I have some great ones from Leigh-Anne and Brandon to post right now. I just can't give out location info or allow it to funnel through the blog.

Amanda - can you email me at annabella.griffin@gmail.com. My husband REALLY wants a copy of that picture. Thanks!

i couldn't agree more with anabella here. ive met some of the greatest people ever through this experience both online and off. its hard not sharing everything and some may find it selfish. that is by far not the case. this is out of respect for the cast and crew. they have gotten to know a few of us rather well...hint hint brandon...lol we just want the last week to be as smooth as possible for these guys and make as minimal if any inconvenience as possible. this is one of the reasons why i have talked it over with the others and am going to try to gather a few things for you guys to share as well as the photos and stories we post. ill need a couple of days to get things together, but i assure you it will be worth the wait. i adore all of the halloween/zombie fans out there and hope you guys understand this whole thing. if you haven't already, befriend me on myspace and ill keep you guys posted on my little "project" in the next couple of days. thanks again to all who come here, post here and MODERATE here. i hope we can all continue these relationships LONG after rob and crew have left.

I totally see your side on respecting the crew and cast for the last week, I know some people can make it harder for the production to go along smoothly and ruin it for other fans who keep their distance and are respectful.

I'm a recent graduate from film school, and know how when on sets, people see a movie being shot and be there - heighten that with the halloween series and fans and it can get bad quick, unfortunately.

I wish I could've made it down there to visit from Colorado and meet you guys and check out the locations with you all, but was not able to make it down cause work and other film projects here. I've been following this blog since the first few days after filming began and have loved all the pictures and stories you all have been posting.

If anyone is able to meet Tyler again and get me a signed picture, it'd mean alot to me and I'll gladly pay you for it. The original Halloween and the franchise itself is the main reason for me going to film school - so I was really bummed I wasn't able to make it down for this production. If anyone is able to help me out - let me know - take care.

I think you're doing a really admirable and respectful thing. I check your blog everyday and am a HUGE Halloween fan...in NYC nonetheless, but you did a great job and everyone should be thankful for that, you're not a heel....you're a good person. Hope you guys enjoy the rest of the fun down there.

I totally respect what you are doing. We all would love for the cast and crew to come BACK to Covington in the future and it wouldn't be good to piss anyone off ;) I never made it out to any of the filming locations, but I have really enjoyed reading all about everyone's excitement and seeing the pictures. To be honest, I wasn't even a big Halloween fan until this all started. (Don't boo and hiss at me!!) However, I AM a fan now and I can't wait for August 28th. No matter what, I will still be checking your blog on a (several times...)daily basis, it has become somewhat of an addiction. Take care!
