H2: March 16th
Cold, rainy and dreary and those were the more interesting things I saw this evening. I started at the Conyers Street location. They had already completed shooting but I jumped out of the car and took a few pictures. This is the location where they shot the interior of Mya's apartment. I'm not sure why there is a large white 'X' on the front door.
Next I drove over to the Monticello Street location. I parked at the crew base and walked down to the set. There were a couple of other die-hard fans there along with me. I looked around for MJagr26 but I figured he had already taken off. There really wasn't much to see in the way of filming. I did run into a couple of people I had met on Friday night. I was going to take a couple of quick photos and head on home. It was at this point that I discovered that my camera had died an untimely death. Therefore, I have no pictures from Monticello Street but I did steal one of MJagr26's - along with his picture with Zombie!!!
Tomorrow, they will be filming in Decatur. I came across this article while I was looking through the AJC. I believe they will be in Buckhead later this week. I can't make it into Atlanta but if anyone else ventures that way be sure to take pictures!!

Annabella - I didn't go down there yesterday cause I figured there really wouldn't be anything to see, but I'd love to meet up with everyone at the next location. Heard any details yet? The only info I have is that they're shooting at another house on Conyers Street (address is 2166) on Tuesday, March 24. It's the exterior of the Myers house and the scene is "Strange Things Happen."
What time?? Daytime shooting I hope.
Ok I was told that they would be fillming in Shady Dale last night. This is not true.

Guy's we gotta share the location intel early in the morning- Before we head out to enjoy it.
It seems like the information is coming here after the fact. Which leaves the rest of us Clueless Fan's hunting, and it's not always easy. I was a late arriver to Covington Sqaure last night. Man was I bummed. If iu knew it was day time only stuff. Wouldn't have happened.

I'm trying to get the filming location for tomorrow. Unless they are filming in the same place for multiple days, I only get the next day's location - sometimes. The rumor is they will be filming in Buckhead this week. Not sure which dates. Unfortunately, I don't ever have a clue about call times :(

Newborn is next monday, tuesday, and wednesday. Trailers will be parked there. Anyone check out Decatur yet?

where at in newborn anyone know??so the shoot for conyers st on the 24th is not happening?
My guess for Newborn... The Fertilizer Co. Where else in newborn could you jam 200 some odd extras into. I can't make decatur today. Will they film tomorrow. Can't wait to see what Brandon posts. What did Toth show you. I almost got to see the mask. Wish I did. not like I'd tell any details about it.

the conyers st. shoot is on thursday night [tomorrow]. madison on friday. monday and tuesday for the phantom jam party in newborn-each day has a different call time- monday is in the afternoon, tuesday is going to be a night shoot with a scheduled call time of 7pm. things change daily on set, so i dont know how solid everything is, but that was the schedule as of this morning.
Thanks for the tips on locations and call times! I plan on being at Conyers Street tomorrow night. They are doing superficial construction to the house (2166 Conyers Street) right now to make it look like the Myers house from the first movie. I rode by it at lunch. I will post pictures of that tonight!

The coolest thing just happened,I went to conyers st to check out tommorows shoot then on my way out decided to go by the house on elizabeth st and just so happened while I was outside shooting the owner of the house came out and explained what had went on during the shoot.I asked a few questions about the shoot then he invited me inside, YES EVERYONE INSIDE!!I got pics of the whole place!The rooms were all still painted up.He was great about it,Got pics of the blood on the walls,the main room where the girls were,it was too cool.Hes sending me pics of the actual shoot tonight,bad news is he ask me not to post them but that doesnt mean my "friends" from the black bunny cant see them.He also said they were starting tommorow around 2pm so Ill definately be there anyone wanna meet,Im going by myself and found the greatest parking spots at the legion building.Annabella what time you going tommorow?
Jonathan that is AWESOME! I would love to see the pix and I completely understand if you don't want me to post them - but I REALLY want to see them! It's amazing how friendly some people can be.
I probably cannot make the shoot until around 5pm (unless I get off work early, who knows).
Parking at Academy Springs in good parking but if it is possible, there is a funeral home right across the street from the 'Myers/ House. It is call J.C. Harwell. Check it out for parking as well. If for some reason it gets real crazy down there, I'll walk from work.
crazy on a thursday?we were at the madison shoot and we stood there watching the hanging tree scene for an hour and there was nobody!!i posted the pics and my url.Hope its not blocked,Im going early in the day to check out the options but I wont have my computer but my wife will blog for me so ill call her with updates,werent you able to see the first scenes filmed in covington with not too many security problems?as long as theres no camera flashes we should be alright unless they let us between shoots or something like they did in madison.We will see!!!if you get any last minute info let me know!!I do know its exterior myers house shots with tyler in full gear!Hopes it not all at night.
Hopefully, it won't be crazy b/c it's Thursday. The Friday night they filmed on the square, there must have been 100+ people there. Security was more relaxed but they said No Photos when Tyler was being filmed. Also, they always clear the set if the they are filming murder scenes.
If I get any last minute info, I'll post it to the blog. Looking forward to it.
