Zombieland: Michael's Report

** Note: This was written up on this past Sunday :)

hey guys, just got back from newnan and boy do they need to clean that place up. rocks all over the street, cars flipped upside down, a friggin tank in the middle of the road and posters warning of the apocalypse strewn all over town! very elaborate set for me to pretty much have free access to for about an hour. got some incredible photos which ill post shortly. got there around 2pm, walked the set and shot photos until about 3pm. decided to try and find the base camp and hung out there with brandon and a few other fans. we were told that woody harrelson was there and so was jesse eisenberg. well we made the best of the time just talking about past experiences and had heard that woody would not sign anything. he was being driven by a red prius which i thought was kinda cool with everybody goin green now. anyways the car came to pick him up and he rode right past us out of the parking lot. after turning out, the car stopped and woody rolled his window down and said he would sign for us when he got back. with wrap time about 2 hours away we decided to hang where we were and just wait. well 7pm rolls around and we see the prius turning the corner, we all spring into action and get our things ready and he pulls up to the parking lot and the car stops and he rolls his window down and BAM! he was a bit hesitant with each autograph he signed and asked if we lived around here. i told him i appreciated all the hard work he was putting into the film and how i could not wait to see it to which woody replies "how do you know ive been working hard?" which cracked us all up for a moment. he politely signed for each of us and i was able to get a photo with him! superb day if i do say so myself. this officially closes the book on zombieland for this movie fan. be sure to check out the set photos in the zombieland album, they are pretty sweet.

hey guys,
other than driving through a zombieland shoot on the way to the h2 set today was not so good. got to the brackett house at about 3pm and saw them unloading the haddenfield cruisers in front of the house. went to base camp and saw tyler pre makeup/costume smoking a cigar outside his trailer and mark christopher lawrence (boss of buy more on chuck) in full deputy outfit...then i saw him. there has been this one crew guy who is insistant on making peoples lives miserable and i left. also confirmed scout on set but never saw her. left base camp and met brandon and leigh-anne at the hwy 142 bar & grill. this is where they filmed the rabbit in red exteriors and filmed 3 murders which makes it a landmark and a very cool place to eat or get shitfaced. chatted with the waitress about rob and found out they follow the bunny blog. met the owner, rocky taylor who was very cool. he let me leave my car there and we all rode together back to base camp. with us being literally in the middle of nowhere, there wasn't much to do other than drive around. as we came up on the brackett house again we could see that traffic was completely stopped and we saw a large figure walking up the street. we immediately thought tyler than dismissed it just as quickly. well, when they opened traffic back up, we saw tyler and rob chatting in the front yard. turns out it was him. we headed back to base camp again and saw brea grant from our car as we passed walking into catering. we went back to the rabbit to regroup and rocky comes walking out with a large sign and a boobs calendar...yes a boobs calendar. turns out these were props from the movie!! the sign hung from the front window and the calendar...yes the boobs calendar hung from the wall inside. can't thank you enough rocky, you've got a cool ass bar and are a hell of a guy. i will be back to eat again and maybe next time shitfaced. well all in all i got a shot of tyler walking up the street but it resembles a photo of bigfoot you'd see on monsterquest or something. i also got to eat at the rabbit in red and get some awesome props!! more to come this week.

There's only 3 more days left to watch anything, and they are staying in the same location for those 3 days. After this they will return to the studio located somewhere around here for the final 3 days, and thats 100% off limits to spectators.

I met someone who knows another crew guy, she's his sister. I might go back out there. I hope it's all good to show back up. Sound like you guys are being told to leave again. Sorry to hear that. I wish they understood that all we want to do is Fan Jam with them and not cause any problems. Nothing will leak from anyone anymore. We know so much as it is.

Hope the last 3 days are good for all who find them.

yeah yesterday was ok,i went earlier in the day around 3 or so and only seen one other person and of course the little punk was snapping pics left and right and walking between base camp and catering and when rob came out the little guy flipped!after just a few minutes he was spotted and of course they told him to get lost.after that I spoke with a couple of people Ive seen a few times and they knew I wasnt there to really cause trouble so they let me hang a little, seen rob, spoke to tyler and scout but it seemed everyone was in a hurry and there wasnt much going on and theres no chance to catch any filming where they are now almost bad as the brackett house shoot!kinda glad things are winding down and I think some of the other people are too, anyways it was fun as hell and being a zombie fan since I was sixteen to me was a chance of a lifetime not just to meet him numerous times but to also been able talk with him and really see what an intelligent man he really is.anyways take care all!!
